In cooperation with colleagues from the
Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of
Economics and Business Administration, the
master program ‘Philosophy of Management
and Organizations’ of the Department of
Philosophy, Faculty of Humanities, organizes
a symposium on Organization – Ontological,
Epistemological and Ethical Perspectives.
Both philosophers and scholars from the other disciplines
mentioned reflect on philosophical aspects of
organization.
Three interrelated themes guide this reflection:
- Epistemic issues concerning knowledge in and about
organizations
- Ontological issues concerning the fundamental
characteristics of organization
- Ethical issues concerning good organization
