Workshop “Democratic Culture(s)”
Groninger Forum Library, Josef Cohen room Oude Boteringestraat 18, Groningen, NetherlandsDemocracy is an object of political, philosophical and artistic conceptualization. Since Ancient Greece, it has been seen and performed in a variety of ways. The panel aims to explore various conjunctures putting "democracy" and "culture" together, and revisit the problem of the universal rationale underlying the notion of democratic culture.
