On March 25, the Centre for Political Philosophy at Leiden University will host a symposium on conflict and power in struggles for recognition, engaging with the work of Hegel, Nietzsche, and Honneth. Speakers: João Constâncio (New University of Lisbon) JJ McFadden (University of Chicago) Bert van den Brink (Utrecht University) João Constâncio is an expert on Nietzsche at the New University of Lisbon. Bert van den Brink is a political philosopher at Utrecht and an expert in critical theory. JJ McFadden a political theorist at the University of Chicago, working, among others, on Hegel, Aristotle, and Arendt. João Constâncio is an expert on Nietzsche at the New University of Lisbon. Bert van den Brink is a political philosopher at Utrecht and an expert in critical theory. JJ McFadden a political theorist at the University of Chicago, working, among others, on Hegel, Aristotle, and Arendt.
