OZSW Comparative and Global Philosophy Study Group

Location: Vrije Universiteit (VU): Faculty of Theology 2E 31/33. (Main Building: floor 2E)—-Please go to the Faculty of Theology (2E-05) and use touch screen to call André van der Braak for entrance).
Agenda:
- (Re)Introductions. Updates on our current projects. Announcements relevant to the group as a whole (conferences, talks etc).
- Pieter Boele Van Hensbroek: “Comparative Political Theory and African Philosophy.” (30-40 minutes)
- Stephen Harris: Presentation on Doing Philosophy Comparatively by Tim Connolly. (20-30 minutes)
- Group Discussion on teaching comparative philosophy, including but not limited to other comments on Connolly’s book. (Time flexible).
- Discussion about possible future events. (Time Flexible).
