Study group Ancient Philosophy

Topic & aim

The aim of this study group is to discuss recent trends in research about Greco­Roman philosophy. All members of the OZSW with interests in ancient philosophy are welcome to join the group and attend its meetings.

We will meet twice a year. During these meetings, we will discuss (i) recently published papers (and book chapters) that promise to influence future scholarship; (ii) papers by invited speakers; or (iii) work in progress by members themselves.

The study group will also aim to facilitate cooperations between the OZSW and other institutions in the area of ancient philosophy.
