The OZSW believes that the social safety of both its students and teachers is of utmost importance, and to discuss existing social safety problems in academic philosophy, there will be a social safety meeting on September 29, 2022.

Date and times:
Thursday September 29, 2022
14.00 – 18.00

Location:
Utrecht Science Park (de Uithof).
The plenary session will take place in room 169 in the Buys Ballotbuilding (Princetonplein 5, 3584 CC Utrecht).
The intervision session afterwards will take place in subrooms 075, 109 & 165 in the Buys Ballotbuilding and room 011 in the Minnaert building ( Leuvenlaan 4, 3584 CE Utrecht).
The ending will also be taking place in the Minnaert building.

The two buildings are located at a 10 min. walking distance from each other.

Preliminary program:
14.00 – 14.15 Doors open
14.15 – 15.00 lecture prof. Naomi Ellemers (this will also be available through live stream or video)
15.00 – 15.15 break
15.15 – 16.00 Q &A
16.00 – 17.30 Intervision sessions in small groups under the guidance of experts, based on cases from the participants.
17.30 – 18.00 Ending

Discussion of cases in small groups:
Do you have a case you would like to discuss in the intervision sessions? Please send the case(s) before August 30 to Lobke Reimus of Utrecht University l.reimus@uu.nl. In the meeting it will be decided  which cases will be discussed. Therefore, the case owner needs to be present.
Note: ‘cases’ can be interpreted very broadly. It can also concern problems or skepticism about policy and measures. The purpose of the meeting is to exchange ideas and experiences between institutions.
