Deadline ReMa poster submissions for OZSW conference near

Research Master students who are a member of the OZSW are invited to submit a title for a poster presentation session during the 2nd annual OZSW conference, to be held on 7 & 8 November 2014 at Radboud University Nijmegen. The deadline to submit your title is August 21st (but please sign up as soon as possible).

Regardless of whether you have already expressed your interest during the exploration phase for organizing this session – if you would like to participate in the ReMA session, please send an email to 2014conference@ozsw.nl containing:

the title of your presentation
your name
your institutional affiliation.

This information will be included in the conference program. Note that everyone interested will be admitted to the session, there will be no review of poster proposals. Also note that presenters are required to register for the conference before September 15th.

The conference organizers have reserved 45 minutes for the poster session at the end of the first day of the conference (Friday November 7). You prepare for it by summarizing and visualizing an argument on a poster of A0 or A1 format, using text, lay-out and/or pictures. During the session itself, all posters will be mounted in the same conference room, allowing the conference participants to walk by the different posters and ask questions to the presenters. This means that you will stand next to your poster during the session and have to be prepared to give further explanations.

In September we will provide more information about e.g. the exact size of the posters. For now we advice you to base your poster on a recent or soon to be written paper and have a look at these guidelines (though keep in mind that there is not one correct format for a poster presentation and that not all tips apply to philosophy posters):
