It is a pleasure to announce that Dr. Maarten Franssen, associate professor at the Delft University of Technology, received the Supervisor of the Year Award for 2015. Dr. Franssen received the award because of his outstanding supervisory qualities. In specific, he is praised for his dedication towards his PhD-students, the joy he has in supervising, his selflessnes and his integrity.
Additionally, an honorable mention was given to Joel Anderson, assistant professor at Utrecht University, for his excellent supervision activities.
