RPML Lunch Seminar: Bas van Woerkum – ‘Anthropo – wait, what?’
29 March @ 12:30 - 13:30
Next week Wednesday (March 29th), Bas van Woerkum will give a presentation during the lunch seminar titled ‘Anthropo – wait, what?’. You can find the abstract of his talk below.
The meeting, per usual, takes place in E15.39/41 from 12.30 – 13.30, and can be screened via the following Zoom link: https://radbouduniversity.zoom.us/j/84273872756?pwd=UDFETEE0L2hJS1ptZDR3aXNXK2hPQT09.
Anthropo – wait, what?
In this talk, I’ll be asking for your help. I’m writing a paper on anthropomorphism, overintellectualization, WEIRDness, mindreading and the usefulness of folk psychological terms in comparative psychology. I’m aware that cramming all this stuff into a single paper sounds unfeasible, but it brings together much of the themes I have been thinking about over the course of my PhD and I would love make it work somehow. I hope that your comments on this possibly disjointed talk will help me sharpen some connections and connect some dots.
