OZSW Comparative/Global: Between Al-Ghazālī and Averroës: The Critique of Metaphysics and the Systematization of Islam as a Science

On Friday 6 March, Ahmed Abdel Meguid (Syracuse University) will give a lecture, entitled: “Between Al-Ghazālī and Averroës: The Critique of Metaphysics and the Systematization of Islam as a Science.” This lecture is organised by LUCIS (Leiden University Centre for Islam in Society) in cooperation with Leiden’s Institute for Philosophy and its Comparative Philosophy agenda.
Time: 15.00-17.00 hours.
Venue: Lipsius 228 (Cleveringaplaats 1, Leiden).
