On March 2, Sue Donaldson and Will Kymlicka (Queen’s University, Kingston) will give a masterclass, and present a paper at the PPA Colloquium, at the University of Amsterdam. Both the masterclass and the colloquium will focus on the political theory of animal rights they develop in their book Zoopolis: A Political Theory of Animal Rights (2011). In the masterclass we will concentrate on Zoopolis and questions of wild animal sovereignty. In the colloquium we will discuss the paper Rethinking Membership and Participation in an Inclusive Democracy: Cognitive Disability, Children, Animals.

Colloquium: 4-6 pm

Papers will be distributed in advance, so please register.
