You are cordially invited to attend an honorary lecture by Professor Daniel Garber, entitled “Something Old, Something New: The Idea of a Philosophia Novantiqua in Early Modern Europe,” on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Center for the History of Philosophy and Science (Radboud University). Professor Garber (Princeton University) works on the history of philosophy, science and society, particularly in the period of the Scientific Revolution, and has written several acclaimed books on Descartes and Leibniz. You are cordially invited to attend an honorary lecture by Professor Daniel Garber, entitled "Something Old, Something New: The Idea of a Philosophia Novantiqua in Early Modern Europe," on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Center for the History of Philosophy and Science (Radboud University).
Professor Garber (Princeton University) works on the history of philosophy, science and society, particularly in the period of the Scientific Revolution, and has written several acclaimed books on Descartes and Leibniz.
The lecture will take place on 8 June, 2018, at 16.00h and will be followed by a reception.
