What is important to do nowadays if we want to think ecology is to relink ourselves to nature but not only. It is also to relink us to our cosmic condition. And in this perspective, African philosophies can help us. As the Ghanaian philosopher Kwasi Wiredu explains, African or oriental philosophies are philosophies of nature. All, in their different ways, teach respect for nature.
