Short description: In this gathering we will discuss social safety and sexual and other forms of harassment, that are at issue within academia and are widely discussed, and demand for change. What is it like to work at universities in the Netherlands? How to act when you are confronted with forms of harassment? How to support people confronted with it in a safe way? Yolande Jansen, who was one of the authors of this article about this topic in the Dutch weekly De Groene Amsterdammer, will give a 15 minute talk.
