Second, it poses the question as to what resources contemporary European philosophy offers to seriously respond to nihilism. As a point of reference for the conference, prof. Paul van Tongeren has written a position paper, published on the conference-website. Following the structure of the paper, the conference program consists of five sessions, each representing a main field of culture within which the two lines of questioning are combined. For the position paper and the conference program please see the conference website here. The conference is organized by the Center for Contemporary European Philosophy of the Radboud University Nijmegen. It takes place at the eve of the valedictory speech of prof. dr. Paul van Tongeren, who has an extensive research record on Nietzsche research and philosophical ethics. Location: Radboud University Nijmegen Date: December 10th and 11th Admission: Free For registration please fill in the conference form by clicking here.
