3rd TiLPS History of Analytic Philosophy Workshop

This workshop is hosted by the Tilburg Center for Logic, Ethics and Philosophy of Science (TiLPS), Tilburg University. The workshop is funded by The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO, grant 275-20-064) and organized by Sander Verhaegh.

You can register for the workshop by filling out this form. Registration closes on July 1. The conference fee for THAPW is 90 euro. This fee covers the conference dinner (on July 15), the lunches, and the coffee breaks.

Practicalities
Location: THAPW2019 will take place in and around rooms DZ6 and DZ8 in the Dante Building of Tilburg University. The Dante building is indicated on the following campus map.
You can access the main entrance to the Dante building (on the west side) via a set of 5 stairs off of Universiteitlaan, or a ramp approximately 10 meters further west on Universiteitlaan.
Rooms DZ6 and DZ8 are located on the ground floor. Once through the main entrance, turn right, and go to the end of the hall. Room DZ8 will be on your right.
The address of Tilburg University is: Warandelaan 2, 5037 AB Tilburg, The Netherlands.

Tilburg University is located in the southern part of the Netherlands. Its campus, designed with a compact architectural concept in mind, is set in gently undulating, park-like grounds on a forest edge.
Train
Local Train
Visitors travelling by stop-train (from Eindhoven, Breda and ‘s-Hertogenbosch) can take the ‘Tilburg Universiteit’ NS train station which is just a few minutes walking from Tilburg University.
Intercity
Travellers on fast intercity trains need to get off the train at ‘Tilburg Centraal Station’ (downtown) and can reach Tilburg University from there by cab approximately € 15,bus (bus line 4), or a connecting stop-train to ‘Tilburg Universiteit’.

Car
From Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam (A4/A2)
Take the A4, direction Utrecht. The A4 will ultimately connect to the A2, which will take you all the way to ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Just beyond ‘s-Hertogenbosch take the A-58/E-312 to Breda which will take you to Tilburg. Take exit 11 (Goirle/Tilburg/Turnhout). At the traffic lights, take a left turn to Tilburg. At the next traffic lights, take a left turn to “Universiteit”. Follow the “Universiteit” signs all the way to the University. There is car park at the edge of the campus.
From Breda, Eindhoven and Den Bosch, (A58/E312)
Take exit number 11 (Centrum West). At the traffic lights, follow direction Tilburg. Keep left. At the next traffic lights, take a left turn to “Universiteit”. Follow the “Universiteit” sign all the way to the University. There’s a parking lot right at the entrance of the campus.
