The PhD Council of the Dutch Research School of Philosophy (OZSW) invites PhD candidates in philosophy to register for the OZSW Writing Retreat to take place on 25 – 28 October 2022.

About the topic
Do you have trouble concentrating on your writing? Do e-mails keep dropping in just as you were about to finish that paper? If you need to banish distraction and focus to chase your PhD goals, a writing retreat could be just what you need! Finally, you’ll have time to start that paper, finish your chapter, or revise that report that you’ve been meaning to send out.
The OZSW PhD council is organizing a writing retreat from 25-28 October at the charming and quiet ISVW Landgoed for all OZSW PhD students. For only 150,- euros, you will get a private room for 3 nights, breakfasts, lunches, 3-course dinners and, most importantly, the solitude to write for 4 days straight. As a break, you can take a walk in the beautiful forest.
Costs
150 euros.
The retreat is only open for OZSW PhD members. If you would like to become a Regular PhD or Associate PhD member, please check if you are eligible here.
How to apply / register
PhD candidates who are an OZSW member can register here until September 30.
Due to the cancellation costs of ISVW, the cancellations costs differ from the OZSW policy, and are as follows:
Cancellation 2 months before the retreat: full refund
Cancellation between 1 and 2 months before the retreat: 65% refund
Cancellation between 1 month and 2 weeks before the retreat: 40% refund
Cancellation between 2 weeks and 1 week before the retreat: 15% refund
Cancellation between 1 week before the retreat: no refund.
If you can find a replacement, the above doesn’t apply, but you have to arrange the finances between each other yourself.
