The history of philosophy should not be studied in isolation, but in connection with its social and intellectual contexts and related fields such as art and science. In this course we will explore various episodes in the history of philosophy in relation to the history of the sciences. The keynote lectures cover various periods and scientific disciplines, and students can present their own research.
