The Dutch Research School of Philosophy (OZSW) and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam invite all to register for the annual Dutch-Flemish Day of Philosophy that will take place in Amsterdam on September 16, 2017.

The model for the event is the so-called ‘Science Slam’, where research reporting and storytelling go hand in hand. We use this format to encourage informative, entertaining, and lucid communication of philosophical ideas. Speakers are heartily invited to try out something new, both in regards to the content and to the mode of their presentation. All presentations will be plenary talks, with 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion. You are free to choose your method of presentation; there aren’t specific presets (e.g. as to whether or not use slides or other media).
