Ethics of Technology: The Future agenda
12 June 2017 - 13 June 2017
Conference: Celebrating 10 years of 4TU.Ethics, June 12th and June 13th
Ethics of Technology: The Future agenda
An international conference organized on occasion of the
10th anniversary of the 4TU.Centre for Ethics and Technology (4TU.Ethics)
In 2007, Ethicists and Philosophers in the philosophy departments of the three technical universities in the Netherlands (TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, and University of Twente) joined forces to contribute to the responsible design and use of technologies. The 4TU.Centre for Ethics and Technology quickly became part of the growing field of ethics of technology. While there are many conferences that cover specific technologies, domains or issues, there have hardly been conferences that cover the field as a whole and try to give it coherence. This conference will bring together leading international experts to present their latest work and discuss a future agenda for the field.
Join us in celebrating the 10th anniversary of our Centre and help us shape the future agenda of our field!
