About the topic

PhD-Students
– are introduced to the main metametaphysical views,
– are invited to discuss and reflect on the possibilities and limits of these different approaches,
– attend the presentations of four papers by international experts in a special edition of “the metametaphysical club”,
– prepare, conduct and evaluate interviews with these experts on their (meta)metaphysical views.
Excerpts from these interviews will be used in the online course “Reality Bites: A tasting of analytic metaphysics”

Friday 8th of December
09:00-12:00: Introduction to metametaphysics by Tim De Mey, Markku Keinanen and Jani Hakkarainen
13:00-17:00: papers by, among others, Markku Keinanen, Jani Hakkarainen and James Miller (in a special edition of The Metametaphysical Club)
18:00: dinner (not included)
Monday 11th of December
on appointment: interviews with the experts
Tuesday 12th of December
11:00-14:00: evaluation of the interviews
15:00-17:00: paper by and public interview with Gonzala Rodriguez-Pereyra (special edition of The Metametaphysical Club)
18:00-: closing drinks in Kaapse Maria
