Aim / objective
This year, the annual debate’s topic is “Valorization as a Quality Criterion for Research in Philosophy” (“Valorisatie als Kwaliteitskriterium van Filosofisch Onderzoek”). Three speakers from the areas of practical, theoretical and the history of philosophy will discuss the way in which valorization is raised as a theme in their research proposals. Drs. Lily Sprangers from Leiden University will share her knowledge on the theme. Our aim is to distill lessons for the presentation of the topic “valorization” in future research visitations in philosophy, such as SEP (Standaard Evaluatie Protocol).
